Fly fishing the waters of Yellowstone Park can be truly magical -- images of trout sipping PMDs on the Firehole or a Cutthroat slowly opening its mouth on a hopper is what it is all about.

Yellowstone Park opens to fishing on the Saturday of Memorial Weekend, with a few exceptions -- Yellowstone Lake opens June 15 and the upper Yellowstone River opens July 15.

Early season the Firehole is the place to be with spectacular scenery and dry fly fishing to boot.

July and August offers an abundant opportunity to catch a trout on a dry fly. The meadow stretches of the Gallatin, Slough and Lamar are just a few of our destinations.

In mid September and October our focus returns to either the Firehole for dry flies or chasing big browns with a streamer on the Madison.
